It is mutually agreed that the following terms of agreement form an integral part of this contract and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless accepted by the photographer in writing.

Booking Fee
The £100 booking fee covers our expenses, administration costs and secures the time/services of the photographer(s) for the wedding. The booking fee is not refundable.

Bookings are made strictly on a first come first served basis. Dates will only be reserved upon receipt of a full deposit.

Payment Terms
£100 booking fee - payable at the time of booking our services. The remainder of the fee is due to be paid 4 weeks prior to the wedding.
Payment for all additional albums, re-prints and enlargements must be paid for in full at the time of ordering.

Special Requests/Coverage
The client understands and accepts that the photographic coverage will be as the photographer’s professional expertise determines and that no photograph will be deemed more important than another. Special requests are not a binding instruction, although every effort is made to comply with the client's wishes.

Bliss Photography is not responsible for the non co-operation / absence of guests in our photographs or for adverse weather conditions which may influence the outcome of the photography. 

Photographs
The photographer will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials, especially man-made fibres. It is sometimes impossible to record the exact colour of materials as seen by the human eye; therefore all colour balances are purely perceptional.

The photographer will provide proof photographs in an online gallery or proof CD. You can then choose which photographs you would like in your album. We use our expertise to edit all of the photographs taken on the day into the proof selection. This is because many of the photographs are often 'duplicates' where several shots have been taken in quick succession to avoid blinks etc. We therefore choose best shots for your proof selection.

Cancellation Policy
Our initial booking fee is non refundable. The following charges apply for cancellations:

Within 6 Months of the Wedding date - 40% cost of the minimum package.

Within 3 Months of the Wedding date - 60% cost of the minimum package.

Within 1 Month of the Wedding date - 100% cost of the minimum package.

Our cancellation policy is required as dates cancelled within 6 months are unlikely to be re-filled. Being a family business this has a significant impact upon our livelihood as we only commit to undertaking one wedding per day.

Copyright
The 1988 Copyright Design and Patents Act assigns the copyright of the photographs taken, to the photographer. It is contrary to the Act and an offence to copy or allow to be copied, the photographs covered by this contract by any means.

Force Majeure
The due performance of the work detailed above is subject to the photographer's alteration or cancellation owing to any cause beyond his/her control. In the unlikely event of the photographer's cancellation the following will apply:-
Arrangements will be made for another photographer of comparable standard to cover the event with agreed fees remaining unchanged; if this is not possible or acceptable a full refund will be given of all monies paid to the date of cancellation

Negatives
The negatives/digital files remain the property of the photographer.

Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by English Law

In booking Bliss Photography for my wedding I agree to the provision for payment as outlined above. I also agree to the terms of business as set out above.
